March 07, 2017

AT&T* is debuting Part 1 of Taylor Swift’s performance at the DIRECTV NOW Super Saturday Night concert.  View it exclusively on Taylor Swift NOW starting today.

The 3-part special will include Taylor performing her haunting hit “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker)” for the first time live – accompanied only by her acoustic guitar.  This never-before-seen series will also feature hits like “Bad Blood” and “Shake It Off.”  The second and third parts will be added over the next few weeks.

The concert was filmed live in front of 9,000 people in Houston on Feb. 4, at Club Nomadic, a custom-built 60,000+ square-foot venue.  It is part of Taylor’s multi-year, multi-faceted deal with AT&T that includes content and performances.

“The future of entertainment centers on how artists interact with their fans.  We’re working with Taylor on new and different ways she can connect with them,” said Brad Bentley, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, AT&T Entertainment Group.  “AT&T customers and fans get the best seat in the house for this year’s DIRECTV NOW Super Saturday Night – right in their living room or on their phone or tablet.  We can’t wait to share more surprises and deliver unique, exclusive content for AT&T customers and Taylor fans.”

Fans can tune to Taylor Swift NOW on all AT&T video platforms – DIRECTV (Channel 1113), U-verse (Channel 1501) today, with DIRECTV NOW to follow soon– to get a first look at the concert or re-live the DIRECTV NOW Super Saturday Night experience.  Taylor Swift NOW is also available through those platforms’ apps for on-the-go streaming. About Taylor Swift

In the fall of 2014, when Taylor Swift released her critically acclaimed fifth album, 1989, she astounded the world by selling almost 1.3 million albums in its debut week — a feat that had been called impossible. Taylor is the only artist in history to have three albums sell over one million copies in their first week of release (2010's Speak Now, 2012's RED and 2014's 1989). Taylor, a ten-time GRAMMY winner, is a singer, musician and songwriter, and not only the youngest winner in history, but the first female solo artist to win the music industry's highest honor, the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year twice. Taylor has an album on Rolling Stone's prestigious The 50 Greatest Albums of All Time (by women) list, she is Billboard's youngest-ever Woman of the Year and the only artist to have been awarded this honor twice, Time magazine has named her one the of the 100 Most Influential People in the world and one of only eight candidates for their most prestigious honor, 2014 Person of the Year and is the inaugural recipient of AMA's Dick Clark Award for Excellence. The number of awards she has won and the sales figures only tell part of Taylor's story. It’s the intangibles that elevate Taylor into the stratosphere of our pop culture planet, allowing the 26-year old singer-songwriter to orbit in a more rarified air. Her large-scale charitable contributions are one thing, but it’s in the small gestures – the notes of compassion she posts on the Instagram photos of lovelorn fans, the genuine hugs she distributes without discretion – where Swift proves time and time again that platinum-selling, record-setting success has not changed her inherent nature. She is awkwardly honest and powerfully empathetic; a brazen superfan, loyal friend, fierce protector of hearts; and one of the world’s greatest ambassadors for the power of just being yourself.

“I Don't Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker)”, Taylor’s collaboration with ZAYN, is the first  single from the Fifty Shades Darker movie, and was specifically written for the movie and co-written by Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff and Sam Dew. “I Don't Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker)” debuted No. 1 on iTunes sales chart in 85 countries.
